Marissa is originally a designer by trade and fell in love with community, systems, and how they all come together in real time (leading to her interest in café work). She is highly creative and strategic and is dedicated to problem solving in whatever industry she is apart of. She is passionate about the barista and roasting craft, sensory development, and further exploring the beverage and hospitality world. Outside of coffee, Marissa has continued to grow her creative portfolio working on projects ranging from packaging to web design to launching brands to digital marketing to even starting her own micro business. She has worked on contract projects with local non-profits, small businesses, individuals, and small corporations.
